🏔️ “A living record of an endurance athlete building himself through challenge”

how did you end up choosing this sport?

I first realized endurance was more than a hobby in January 2020. My friends encouraged me to run a half marathon instead of a 10K for my first race ever. That day became one of the best days of my life. I didn’t just finish. I discovered something in myself. I knew I had more in me.

Shortly after, during COVID, I got injured.

Almost two years away from proper training.

Many setbacks. Many moments of doubt.

But that period didn’t kill the dream. it lit it.

I promised myself that once I recovered, I would chase something bigger.

That promise led me to triathlon.

And eventually, to Ironman and many other challenges.

Why choose difficult paths and races?

Every race whether it’s a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or ultra builds something in you.

Physically.

Mentally.

Emotionally.

Each one teaches you how much you can give.

How far you can go.
